Porcelain Paving Specialists in Banbury
We deliver professional porcelain paving installation services for patios, pathways and outdoor spaces throughout Banbury. Porcelain offers consistent colour retention, minimal maintenance demands and exceptional durability that conventional paving materials simply cannot replicate.
Porcelain paving proves ideally suited for various outdoor areas in Banbury, including:
- Patios and seating areas – The non-porous surface resists staining from food, beverages and furniture
- Pathways and walkways – Maintains colour integrity without fading, ensuring enduring visual appeal
- Pool and spa surrounds – R11-rated options deliver excellent slip resistance when wet
Porcelain requires different groundwork preparation compared to natural stone. Our installations utilise either a concrete base with adhesive bonding or a pedestal system for raised installations such as roof terraces. The concrete base method involves laying a 100mm reinforced concrete slab, then fixing tiles with flexible adhesive and using specialist grouting compounds to ensure proper porcelain bonding.
We consistently recommend resin grout for porcelain installations, as it provides flexibility, superior weather resistance, and can be colour matched to either complement or contrast with the porcelain tiles.
For patio areas, we can utilise a sand and cement bed installation similar to natural stone approaches, though the adhesive method provides better long term stability. Installation timeframes typically span 2 to 4 days for a standard patio project from start to finish.
In addition to porcelain paving, we provide other surfacing options for your outdoor areas, including resin patios, sandstone installations, granite stone patios and more.

Fabulous job from Summit Driveways, a hard working team and the service was seamless from initial quote through to finished driveway. We are extremely pleased, and would highly recommend.
After getting several quotes for a new drive I decided to go with Summit. As well as a very competitive quote, I am also very pleased with the quality of the work undertaken, and the care taken during construction.
Summit Driveways have recently installed a new driveway at my property. Rob visited to discuss my requirements and answer any questions that I had. He supplied a detailed quote that was reasonably priced. Given the current hot weather the team were hard working. They arrived promptly and left the site tidy at the end of each day. A professional company who I highly recommend.
